Ana Machado’s three sons have all left home and graduated college. Now 55, she says she enjoys the freedom, but still remembers how sad she felt preparing for them to move out. She says she would walk by their empty bedrooms at her home in Andover, Mass., sit down on the stairs and cry.
It’s not only that he listens to Van Halen or Motley Crue while he is competing. Or that he wears cool looking Ray Ban sunglasses and has an even cooler hairstyle kind of a flat top gone sideways. It’s just that Jay Barrs, the 1988 Olympic gold medalist in archery, is genuinely cool.
There are many reasons both practical and political that Trump finds generals so attractive. His focus on senior officers to fill out top foreign policy positions, such as director of national intelligence and secretary of defense, reflects the president elect’s finely tuned understanding of the country and his base. “Trump loves generals so much because America loves the generals,” said Phil Carter, an Iraq veteran and senior fellow at the Center for a New American Security.
I got hit multiple times in the head/arm, but I saw people like shortstuff get shot in the head by the same ak round as me, and they instantly died despite never getting hit previously, but I was fine. How was frame performance? Beginning was a bit rough but then it got better, and it stayed decent throughout the mission.Have any crazy stories that you like to share? Basically quickscoping a t34 was amazingly fun as everyone panicked around me.Breachers: I know the explosives were basically ineffective, but if you used the Incendiary grenades what are you opinions on them? I got to use incendiary once, it was amusing, I wish explosives had worked but eh, bugs happen so fuck it.Did anyone find the tripwire flares? Did they alert the enemy, or scare you at all? We found a shit ton of tripwires and I alerted us about them after we had somehow managed to pass by half of them so we got lucky, it was a tense a shit moment that I really enjoyed, calling out for everyone to hold the fuck still or risk dying as I didn know if it was frags, flares, ied etc. What was your overall thought of the mission concept? SLs, did you get adequate intelligence from the command little bird? Regular guys, did you enjoy the layout and objectives? The mission concept was fun, though I feel like the carrier/svds or whatever just kinda added to the annoyance as we couldn actually fit our stuff inside so our “stealth” vehicle rode on the surface, but that worked out okay as well. As for intel, our squad lead would have to chime in, I enjoyed the entire time we played, it was fun, I felt that there was plenty of squads sneaking around us so that when I watched out and called out contact it wasn useless and was actually valuable. As for an entire aside bit, I feel like it was the perfect “time” of night, so not having nods on wasn a death sentence, but they still helped. I love to see you develop more missions in the style of this, perhaps with a zeus to modify things on the fly to make it more interesting, or take a bit more care to make sure enemies weren cached in places that we could see, though that may have been part of how good our squad was doing.Otherwise I look forward to playing more of your ops in general and perhaps even replaying this one.
