I have some sort of paralyzing photo fear that causes this procrastination. I want the photos desperately, but then it seems I want to get on with life and can’t be bothered to move the precious keepsakes from someplace safer than, say, cardboard (no chance those boxes are acid free, lignin free and archival). I cut myself a break from the guilt after reminding myself that I’m a full time working mom and spare moments don’t grow on trees.

I do agree with Arwen, I too have been trying to think about what I teaching the kids about style, modesty, fashion and when and how to talk about it. We have found that taking care of ourselves especially in the mornings by getting dressed in something decent (no holes or paint splatters just a matching comfortable outfit), brushing and putting up our hair, putting on minimal makeup and keep our teeth brushed has really improved our for the day for me and my girls. We feel good about ourselves and feel together we may not be stylish or glamorous but Daddy loves us.
