You right, there are huge education problems and not everyone needs a bachelor degree. It completely ridiculous that our society demands that. However none of that is relevant to what I said, calm your hate boner.. What Americans actually do is ignore, forget or refuse to accept factual elements of history that do not align with the patriotic narrative they are indoctrinated with from birth. They are told America is the greatest nation and has been a force for democracy and good in the world and they believe it, despite never having travelled anywhere else and the fact that there is masses of clear factual evidence of the awful influence America has been on some parts of the world for a very long time. I lived in the US and went to an American high school and not only are most negative aspects of American foreign policy completely ignored in US history, in some areas, factual inaccuracies are taught and believed by all because they match the patriotic narrative more appropriately.
